RIAA Comment On Meeting With VP Biden, Administration Officials To Discuss Intellectual Property Protection

WASHINGTON - Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) Chairman & CEO Mitch Bainwol offered the following comment on the recent White House meeting between Obama Administration officials, including Vice President Joe Biden, and various representatives of the creative industries:

"This unprecedented gathering of senior officials is a further reflection of this Administration's recognition of the importance of copyright protections to generating and preserving American jobs. We’re grateful for the Administration's efforts and commitment. We look forward to continuing this constructive dialogue and working together to advance legitimate commerce and ensure the creative industries remain one of America's most valuable cultural and economic exports."
