WASHINGTON – The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) mourns the loss of former Board member Bill Hearn, Chairman & CEO of Capitol Christian Music Group. Below is a joint comment from RIAA Chairman & CEO Cary Sherman, and RIAA President Mitch Glazier.

“The music industry has lost a giant.  Bill Hearn wasn’t just the CEO of Capitol Christian Music Group who grew Sparrow Records and Publishing to new heights, and he wasn’t just an innovator in Christian music who crossed generations and genres. He was a caring and kind friend who loved this industry and the people in it, and he made it better.  We pray his family will find strength during this time of grief through his memory and lasting legacy.  We will miss him dearly.”
